“I began cosmetology career in 2010 knowing I wanted to specialize in on location makeup and hairstyling. I worked BEHIND THE CHAIR IN HAMMOND LOUISIANA UNTIL 2013 when I landed my dream job as a bridal beauty specialist, traveling from the BATON ROUGE to NEW ORLEANS every weekend. I also had the opportunity to do makeup for new Orleans fashion week, miss Louisiana, tv commercials and multiple magazines. After years of learning and growing as an artist I saw that there was something missing in my industry; a team that focused ON the artist. I believe that a happy artist = a happy client. In January 2019 I took a huge leap of faith and STARTED MY OWN brand. Wildflower is more than just a hair and makeup TEAM, it’s sisterhood. supporting artist’s through their growth has brought profound purpose to my life.
Over the next few years, i poured everything I had into growing my brand. creating my own booking system, making content, networking, constantly educating myself so I was able to share more with my artist’s. As the demand for my services grew, i found it difficult to focus on the other area of my life that brings me profound purpose, my family. after much thought and planning, in 2022 I relocated to Derby Kansas to be closer to my husbands family.
My Kansas tribe came together beautifully, while my Louisiana Tribe continues to grow and flourish. After 14 years in the industry, 11 years of servicing weddings almost every weekend, I have closed my personal wedding books. This allows my energy to focus on creating a better admin experience for our brides, coach artist’s through their growth, and soak in as much time as I can with my daughter.
